QUARTERBACK
———EJ Manuel (knee – doubtful for Week 1)
———Jeff Tuel

*With Kolb on IR and Leinart cut, the Bills are currently only rostering Manuel and Tuel. It’s possible they’re waiting for final cuts before adding another.
*If Manuel is not ready to go, Tuel might end up being the first UDFA rookie QB starter in the common era.

RUNNING BACK
CJ Spiller (3DB, GLB)
———Fred Jackson
———Tashard Choice

*Despite Jackson still being around, make no mistake: Spiller is the starter and will get the bulk of the carries
*Jackson’s role is still not determined, but he’s 32 years old and health has always been an issue
*Don’t read too much into Choice’s early role as the goal-line back in the intrasquad scrimmage. Spiller will have that role once everything gets rolling. Coach Doug Marrone has said that he plans on using Spiller in all situations

WIDE RECEIVER
LWR Stevie Johnson
———TJ Graham (WR3)

RWR Robert Woods
———Marquise Goodwin
———Marcus Easley
———Chris Hogan

*Woods and Goodwin are both built for the Z receiver, so look for both the rookies to get time on the outside
*Robert Woods looks like he’s locked in as starter alongside Johnson but Graham could slide in if he struggles.

TIGHT END
Scott Chandler (knee – probable for Week 1)
———Lee Smith
———Chris Gragg

*Chandler should be fully ready by Week 1, and has no threat to his starting job
*Gragg is a guy to keep an eye on…he has real tools to be a factor in the receiving game

KICKER
Dustin Hopkins

*The release of Lindell as expected has installed Hopkins as the unquestioned starter.
