QUARTERBACK
Christian Ponder
———Matt Cassel
———McLeod Bethel-Thompson

*Ponder has looked horrible in the pre-season; the Vikings won’t make a change yet, but you can bet they won’t tolerate this for too long into the regular season.

RUNNING BACK
Adrian Peterson (3DB, GLB)
———Toby Gerhart
———Matt Asiata

*Peterson is an all-world back; the Vikes’ offense is his to command.

WIDE RECEIVER
LWR Greg Jennings
———Jarius Wright (concussion – probable for Week 1) (WR3)
———Joe Webb

RWR Jerome Simpson
———Cordarrelle Patterson
———Greg Childs (knees – PUP)

*Simpson is currently the starter, but he isn’t good enough to hold off Patterson too far into the season, making Cordarrelle a good late-round stash.
*Childs has been placed onto PUP with knee issues; it’s a question whether he’ll ever be healthy enough to play in the NFL.

TIGHT END
Kyle Rudolph
———John Carlson
———Rhett Ellison

*Rudolph is a huge RZ target, which puts him at borderline TE1 status.

KICKER
Blair Walsh

*Walsh was a sensation in his rookie year; he is incredible from long-distance.
