QUARTERBACK
Robert Griffin III (knee – probable for Week 1)
———Kirk Cousins
———Rex Grossman
———Pat White

*Griffin’s knee and overall health are huge concerns, but the Redskins still plan on him starting in Week 1. Team doctor James Andrews is expressing concern about how the Redskins plan to handle Griffin, so this situation is definitely something to watch and be cautious about.
*Pat White’s comeback appears to be complete as both he and Grossman were kept on following final cuts.

RUNNING BACK
Alfred Morris (GLB)
———Roy Helu (3DB)
———Evan Royster
———Chris Thompson

*Morris does not catch many balls, but supposedly the Redskins plan to use him more in the receiving game; we’ll believe that when we see it. That said, he is still a top-10 back in non-PPR leagues.
*Helu is the more skilled pass-catcher out of the backfield and he is a strong handcuff, especially in PPR formats.
*Royster showed well enough in the pre-season to secure a roster spot over special teamer Keiland Williams.

WIDE RECEIVER
LWR Pierre Garcon
———Aldrick Robinson

RWR Josh Morgan
———Santana Moss (WR3)
———Leonard Hankerson

*Garcon is fully healthy and running well; he is primed for a big year.
*Moss may slow down this year, but he is a very consistent slot receiver.
*Morgan (or anyone who starts at the ‘Z’ in Mike Shanahan’s offense) projects to block more than usual starting wideouts.

TIGHT END
Fred Davis (Achilles)
———Logan Paulsen
———Jordan Reed
———Niles Paul

*Davis looks healthy and will start with TE2 value.
*Paulsen is a great blocker.
*Paul may be switched to fullback this season.

KICKER
Kai Forbath

*Forbath made 94% of his kicks last year after being picked up by the Redskins and looks to build on his success.
