QUARTERBACK
Matthew Stafford
———Shaun Hill
———Kellen Moore

*Stafford is the unquestioned starter but if he were to get injured, Hill has shown enough in the past (as an injury substitute) to be a consideration.

RUNNING BACK
Reggie Bush (3DB)
———Joique Bell
———Mikel Leshoure (GLB)
———Montell Owens
———Theo Riddick

*Bush will get the bulk of the touches but Leshoure (provided he’s healthy and recovered from injury) could see some goal line touches.
*Joique Bell is likely to get the majority of the passing game work if Bush were to get hurt; he did well with limited touches last year and looked as though he beat out Leshoure for backup duty in the pre-season.

WIDE RECEIVER
LWR Nate Burleson
———Patrick Edwards
———Michael Spurlock

RWR Calvin Johnson
———Ryan Broyles (knee – recovering from ACL surgery) (WR3)
———Kris Dunham

*Patrick Edwards has been playing some with the 1st team offense and is expected to get some play opposite Calvin Johnson during the season as well.
*If Broyles is healthy, he could see a huge amount of targets in Detroit’s pass heavy offense. He has looked great in camp so far and could be a breakout player in 2013… again though, his knee is a big question mark.
*The Lions threw more than any other team in the NFL in 2012 so anyone getting significant targets is bound to put up fantasy numbers.

TIGHT END
TE1 Brandon Pettigrew

TE2 Tony Scheffler
———Joseph Fauria

*Pettigrew is reportedly in better shape this camp; he has been a big disappointment as a fantasy player thus far given how often he is targeted but the opportunities are there.
*Scheffler had real drop issues in 2012 but still should factor into the offense. Between Pettigrew and Scheffler, there isn’t much to go around for Fauria.

KICKER
David Akers (groin – recovering from surgery)

*Even though Akers is recovering from groin surgery, he was still able to beat out Kickalicious.
